Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar | Altitude: 5,200 ft
Arrive in Srinagar and check into a hotel or houseboat. Explore Dal Lake, take a Shikara ride, and visit Shankaracharya Temple & Mughal Gardens. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 2: Srinagar to Kargil (204 km) | Altitude: 8,780 ft
Ride through Sonmarg and cross Zoji La Pass (11,575 ft). Stop at Drass War Memorial to pay tribute to Kargil war heroes. Overnight stay in Kargil.
Day 3: Kargil to Leh (218 km) | Altitude: 11,500 ft
Visit Lamayuru Monastery (one of Ladakh’s oldest monasteries). Cross Fotu La (13,478 ft), the highest pass on the Srinagar-Leh highway. See Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, and Sangam Point (Zanskar-Indus River confluence). Reach Leh and rest. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 4: Leh to Nubra Valley (120 km via Khardung La) | Altitude: 10,000 ft
Ride across Khardung La (18,379 ft) – one of the highest motorable passes in the world. Visit Diskit Monastery and see the famous Maitreya Buddha statue. Enjoy camel safari in Hunder Sand Dunes. Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.
Day 5: Nubra Valley to Turtuk & Back (170 km round trip) | Altitude: 10,000 ft
Ride to Turtuk, India’s northernmost village near the Pakistan border. Explore the Balti culture, apricot orchards, and wooden houses. Ride back to Nubra for an overnight stay.
Day 6: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake (274 km via Shyok) | Altitude: 14,270 ft
Ride along the scenic Shyok River route. Reach Pangong Lake, a stunning blue lake shared between India and China. Overnight camping near Pangong Lake under the stars.
Day 7: Pangong Lake to Hanle via damchok and umling la | Altitude: 14,764 ft
Ride through Chushul and stop at Rezang La War Memorial. Visit Hanle, home to India’s highest astronomical observatory. Overnight stay in a homestay in Hanle. on same day we are covering damchok and umling la overnight at hanley
Day 8: Hanle to Tso Moriri via chumur (130 km) | Altitude: 19,024 ft
After breakfast Ride to tsomoriri ((14,836 ft), one of the highest lakes in the world that is entirely within Indian territory.! By evening at Tso Moriri Lake, a high-altitude lake in Changthang. Overnight stay at Tso Moriri camp.
Day 09: Tso Moriri to leh chumathang (230 km) | Altitude: 11,500 feet
Ride to leh via chumathang (another beautifulvillage in Ladakh, located along the banks of the Indus River. It is best known for its natural hot sulphur springs, which are believed to have medicinal properties.). on the way we are visiting thiksay monestery and over night at leh
Day 10: Leh to Serchu (250 km) | Altitude: 14,070 feet
Ride across Taglang la , lachung la Day 10 of your Ladakh bike ride begins after breakfast in Leh as you head towards Sarchu via Upshi, crossing Tanglang La, Morey Plains, and Gata Loops, enjoying thrilling high-altitude roads and covering around 250 km in 7–8 hours.over night at serchu
Day 11: Serchu to Manali (Altitude: 2,050 meters (6,726 feet))
After brakfast at Serchu we are heading towards the Manali crossing .Baralacha Jispa, and Keylong, crossing scenic valleys and rugged terrain, enjoying changing landscapes
Day 12: Manali to Delhi (Overnight Volvo Bus Journey)
Enjoy free time in Manali before departing. Board an overnight Volvo bus to Delhi. Trip concludes with unforgettable memories!
